Eric H. Carver, DHSc., MPA, MABMH
Adjunct Instructor

Eric Carver has previously served as a program manager and associate
director for three grant projects in Healthcare Informatics over the last five years. These workforce projects were funded by the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Education respectively. His prior experience working with health information systems in the U.S. Air Force proved to be a great asset for the successes of these grant projects as well as insight from his current position as an officer U.S. Air Force Reserve. His work in post-secondary education over the last decade and unique blend of skills incorporates health informatics, health policy, health administration, bioethics, and education into a platform that provides students with real world perspectives.

Dr. Carver has earned a graduate degree in Bioethics & Medical Humanities from the College of Medicine and a graduate degree in Public Administration from the College of Government and International Affairs at the University of South Florida. Additional graduate coursework includes a graduate certificate in Health Management & Leadership as well as successful completion of UIC’s online Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Health Informatics.
