Health Care IT Degrees

The explosion of growth in the health information industry demands experienced IT systems professionals to move it forward, and at UIC we have degree program options for those interested in an exciting career in information technology within the healthcare industry.

Our Master of Science in Health Informatics program allows health IT systems professionals to move into mid to high level leadership positions, and non-healthcare IT professionals to transition their IT expertise into the healthcare industry. Our Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Health Information Management allows experienced IT professionals to move into the HIM field, making them eligible to sit for the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification.
