Health Informatics Implementation Manager
The implementation manager will be a motivated, focused professional who thrives on client interaction, is extremely well organized and has the mobility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and is an excellent communicator.
- Managing systems implementations
- Managing project plans, financials, time-lines and resource allocations
- Managing to Statements of Work and Scope documents
- Developing / finalizing Scope documents
- Weekly updating of project plans
- Coordinating resource utilization internally
- Managing the client relationship during the implementation project duration
- Conducting regular status reviews with implementing clients
- Reporting on project status weekly
- Escalating issues and needs as appropriate
Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate has a BA/BS degree with a concentration in MIS or business
- Travel – approximately 50-75% of the time
- Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation skills, and customer relationship skills
- Ability to work with all levels of health care client organizations
- Highly organized
- Experience with workflows: analysis,documentation, design, and product configuration
- Experience successfully managing software product implementations in a clinical environment
Knowledge of clinical environments a definite plus:
- Clinical workflows
- Clinical IT systems
- Clinical business processes: Â registration, scheduling, billing, charges, lab tests and results, patient charts, transcription, encounter notes, prescriptions
