One of the key attributes that distinguishes the UIC Health Informatics program from its counterparts, is our deep involvement and relationship with the leading industry organizations. We have developed strong ties with each of the nation’s major professional associations, such as AHIMA, HIMSS and AMIA. Why is this significant? These relationships allow the professional world to contribute to the transformation of knowledge at UIC, but also give us the opportunity to incorporate the latest ideas and technology taken directly from the industry into our dynamically evolving curriculum.
