HIM 432 Coding and Classification Systems (3 hours)
Introduction to nomenclatures and classification systems with an emphasis on the ICD-9-CM coding system. Other selected systems also discussed. Extensive computer use required. Prerequisite(s): BHIS 405 and HIM 451.
