Health Informatics Degrees for HIM Professionals

The UIC Health Informatics degree program is designed to prepare health information management professionals who want high-impact health informatics and health information management careers.

Our Master of Science in Health Informatics program allows HIM professionals to leverage their health information management background to examine and optimize the technologies supporting the collection and dissemination of health care information. Our Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Health Information Management allows people with HIM experience, the  eligibility to sit for the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification.

Either degree option will provide direction to an individual’s career growth within the Health Information Management sector.
