University of Illinois at Chicago Student Receives HIMSS Scholarship

(Chicago, IL)- University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) health information management student, Roman Minyaylyuk, is the recipient of the annual student scholarship awarded by the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS).  In addition to the $5000 scholarship, Roman will receive an all-expense paid trip to the Annual HIMSS Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas.  During the conference, he will be recognized at an awards banquet held on February 23, 2012 at 6:30 pm at the Bellagio hotel.

HIMSS awards three scholarships each year, one to an undergraduate, masters and a PhD student enrolled in a program related to the healthcare information and management systems field.  For details on the scholarship including requirements, please visit the HIMSS website.
