Our program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management. It’s a long term, we abbreviate it CAHAIIM, the acronym is C-A-H-I-I-m. The purpose of accreditation is so that the consumer has some assurance that the program that they’re completing meets high standards.
There are standards in curriculum, there are standards in student services, there are standards for the faculty for outcomes. So knowing that the program has succeeded in meeting those standards is an assurance to the person coming in, to the student that this is a very good program and it’s highly rated. So we’re very proud of our CAHAIIM accreditation and I think it shows in the quality of the program that we deliver.
