Courses within this new concentration will take a more technical and hands-on approach, focusing on building competencies in quantitative/programming areas and data analysis.
“As a researcher at Tokushima University, I develop apps for diabetes patients and HI systems for doctors. When I first started, I noticed there was a lack of people who could understand both health and informatics. That’s what encouraged me to earn my MSHI online from UIC. I’ll be able to stand out as a health informatics professional in Japan.”
