“The U.S. healthcare system is changing at an unprecedented rate. We are witnessing a profound evolution, if not a revolution, that will transform today’s healthcare ecosystem into a more patient-centric model. Technology innovations, regulatory changes and new healthcare delivery models are being created to challenge the existing episodic metaphor. I am truly excited to be helping educate the next generation of healthcare informatics professionals on healthcare’s digital transformation; especially how mHealth, mobile/wireless technologies in healthcare, can and will catalyze paradigm change.”
