Learn about the type of student who should consider an online program.
I would say the first criteria for success is a student that realizes that online education is actually more difficult than classroom education. It requires a higher level of commitment, ability to organize one’s time because most of our students are working full time. It’s not like sitting in a classroom where you can just simple have a very passive learning role. In order to establish presence in an online course, you have to be proactively involved in either online discussions or work within work groups or in some way that’s performance related.
